Kate is an award-winning independent writer & director. Her first feature film, “Knots: A Forced Marriage Story,” is a documentary about forced and child marriage in the U.S. She is a published author, short story writer, and essayist, and has collaborated on several art and media projects in the UK, Germany, and US. She graduated from Florida State University Film School, and has lived and worked around the world. Currently based in Europe and the UK.
