JIMMY CHU (b. 2003) is a filmmaker and graduate of Ateneo de Davao University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Originating from Davao City, his work explores the intersections of social realism, grief, and the quiet struggles of everyday life, often finding meaning in the subtleties of human relationships and personal experiences. As a filmmaker, he seeks to tell intimate, bittersweet stories that examine the complexities of the human condition with sensitivity and restraint.
