Director
Ha Myungmi is a South Korean film director, screenwriter, and producer. She studied film in Australia and founded Whenever Studio in 2019. Her short film *The Pulley by Steven Kwang* was selected for the Fantastic Choice section at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival. Her feature debut, *Her Hobby* (2023), received the NH Award for Distribution Support and the Best Actress Award at BIFAN. Her second feature, *Hallan* (2025), is a historical drama set during the Jeju 4·3 events. In 2026, she received the Bechdelian Award from the Directors Guild of Korea in recognition of her work as a producer.
