Andrea D'Eredità (born August 13, 1999, in Segrate, Italy) is an Italian director, screenwriter and editor based in Turin. He holds a master's degree in Cinema and Media Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino (2025) and is one of the founders of Frenél Studio, a non-profit film association that produces and promotes independent cinema in Turin. He began his career as an assistant director on "L'orgoglio di Alice" (2022), produced by the Politecnico di Torino through its student team Studio Ireos, and on "XVI Barre" (2023). He made his directorial debut with "Un ragazzo di nome Sue", a dystopian sci-fi western short also produced by Studio Ireos, shot in 2022 and premiered in 2024 at Cinema Massimo in Turin. He has since continued to work as an assistant director and first assistant director on several short films, both within and outside Studio Ireos. In 2024 he wrote and directed the noir thriller short "Dubbio nel buio", again produced by Studio Ireos. The film premiered in Turin on June 25, 2026, at "Frenél Volume Zero", Frenél Studio's first public screening, and was later selected for Too Short To Wait, screening at Cinema Esedra. Also in 2024 he co-directed the science-fiction short "Eclipse" with Alberto Nicco, a dystopian story set on an Earth deprived of sunlight, on which he also served as co-writer, producer and visual effects artist. The film is set to premiere on October 22, 2026, at Cinema Massimo in Turin as part of the TOhorror Fantastic Film Fest.
