Set in the Roman countryside, the film unfolds as nostalgia and poetry infiltrates the bodies of three women, enabling curiosity, intimacy, and connection. Taking place in early mornings and late nights, In the quiet of longing embraces a slow wake-up, like an immersion into the landscape of unlived, quiet hours, where the body transforms in relation to its environment.
