A newsreel from the 1940s shows the efficient work of the medical staff at the new National Public Assistance Service facility, inaugurated on Grau Avenue as part of the government's social welfare plan. It shows an ambulance transporting a patient, the operating room and table, the X-ray room, the treatment area, and the beds for patient care.
