Nevzat, the youngest son of a farming family, relapses into gambling one summer day while tending to the garden. His losses and debts grow, weakening his relationships with those around him. His mental breakdown also damages his family relationships. Hiding his situation, Nevzat becomes increasingly isolated and is forced to confront his addiction within his own inner world.
